2025: UMOJA YOUTH PEACE CORPS' COPE WIT' IT SESSION
The Umoja Youth Peace Corps (UYPC) is a developing value of human life program that incorporates and evaluates successful strategies the House of Umoja has employed over the past 55 years in brokering peace and youth, family, and community development to shape and deploy today's change agents, youth ages 14-18 years old ambassadors of peace. It is a free 12-week influencer leadership program centered around peace, the family of community, culture, and healing.
WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO...
This upcoming cohort will be special. Our fifth cohort, it will be comprised of our most successful workshops and trainings thus far: Adella (conflict resolution), Financial Literacy, I AM BECOMING, Audio Photography & Video Production, Video Podcast: COPE WIT' IT, Blockchain Basics that includes trip to Howard University for the annual Black Blockchain Summit on September 21, 2024, WalkNWellness™, and weekly trips! For the first-time our active ambassadors will join this cohort as mentors for new ambassadors.
SCHEDULE & REGISTRATION
UYPC has also partnered with other programs to provide a diversity of experiences and engagement with others. From September 3, 2024 until November 22, 2024 our ambassadors will meet four days a week, Tues-Fridays from 3:00pm-6:00pm. REGISTER BELOW TODAY. Ambassadors also receive a monthly stipend and may earn up to a total of $500.00. Have questions, no problem.
