"LIKE MEN STUDY WAR; WE WILL STUDY PEACE..."
Habari (Hello)! The House of Umoja is in its legacy phase and working to establish a strong foundation for our future generations to carry on the work of creating peace. We are working to convert our buildings and lots into a campus, the Global Fattah Peace Academy that stands on the legs of kinship community, agriculture, technology, and the value of human life.
The complete project will span from 2023 - 2025, is $22 million, and broken down into three (3) phases:
This GIVING TUESDAY 2023 our goal is to raise $250,000.00 by January 2, 2024 to increase our organizational capacity to secure the technology and staff needed for our medical model research, to launch the MakersLab in Spring of 2024, and for skilled fundraisers will help us raise the needed funds.
PHASE 1 is underway. We have raised $1.25M toward pre-development funding. Please, help us raise $250,000 to build our organizational capacity. No amount you give is too large or too small.
BUSINESSES: ENJOY AN UP TO 80% TAX CREDIT!!! If you are interested in learning how your donation to the House of Umoja may help you with tax credits, please contact Queen Mother Falaka Fattah at (215) 473-5893, falakafattah@aol.com or Anthony Bannister-Fattah at anthony@TheHouseOfUmoja.org.

SUSTAINABILITY Now and In The Future...
The Umoja MakersLAB & Entrepreneurial Hub (UMLEH) provides community economic development and sustaining revenue for the peace academy. The UMLEH also will provide our underserved and marginalized communities unprecedented access and opportunities to tinker, create prototypes, produce small runs, and learn and leverage Web3 technologies. Academy students along with our community technologists, inventors, makers, small businesses, and entrepreneurs in the cottage industries and beyond will have the opportunity to create and innovate. Currently, Umoja Tech has Umojaware small business administrative software, a 3D printer that produces our Stranger Danger whistles, drone and V/R play, and 360 shooting for V/R environments. |
